Bio
Marta has been making music for decades, but has really branched out into regular songwriting and performing within the last 15 years. She is a songwriter, singer, pianist, and ukulele player. She likes to call her style "mom rock", which is really acoustic rock with an ethereal and feminist touch. She writes originals and does unique covers of 90s rock tunes. Marta has a bachelor's degree in Music Education from University of Wisconsin-Madison and taught choir and general music as a public school teacher for 6 years. After that, she trained to become a piano technician and has been a professional piano technician for almost 15 years. She owns and operates The Piano Gal Shop.
