"I've been collaborating with Marta for over half a decade now, and she is not only a blast to play music with, but is well-skilled in engaging and entertaining an audience. She is a fine vocalist and pianist who is comfortable in a wide swath of genres including folk, bluegrass, 90s grunge, and more, including a growing list of original music." -

"Marta's artistry as a perfomer brings a style that is uniquely original while remaining respectful to the composers that she often covers. Her original material is creative, relatable and always fun to listen to. Whether she's playing her own tunes or another musician's, you can expect authentic, honest musicianship in every set." -

Ed Ford of Two Hearted River Band

Marta has been making music for decades, but has really branched out into regular songwriting and performing within the last 10 years. She has a bachelor's degree in Music Education from University of Wisconsin-Madison, then taught choir and general music as a public school teacher for 6 years. After that, she started her own business and opened a brick and mortar music store that offers music lessons, piano tuning and repair, custom art, used pianos and other instruments. She is a regular performer all over the Madison, Wisconsin area. She is also part of a duo. Two Birds, that performs at local events and festivals doing dueling pianos and sing alongs.

"Marta has a very eclectic style of songwriting where she has a brilliant way of blending solo piano music with everything from uplifting pop to hard rock. Her hooks and lyrics are matched splendidly with her vocal and piano talents, and in-turn is a all-around very friendly and charismatic person." -
